The Smiths are playing live in Philadelphia! OK, not really, but local cover band 18th Pale Descendants are hosting The Smiths Social at The Trocadero. The night will be filled with (you guessed it) tracks by The Smiths and Morrissey, as well as '80s alternative music spun by local DJ T.C. Cole before and after the live performance.

18th Pale Descendants (named after a lyric from The Smiths' "The Queen Is Dead") are taking requests for this performance. Just drop a comment on their Facebook page, and they'll try to work it into the set.
