The Pennsylvania Ballet is celebrating famed Russian-born composer Igor Stravinsky this spring with its All Stravinsky program at the Merriam Theater. The program will be set to four diverse and captivating works of the composer spanning both the 20th and 21st centuries. Five performances are scheduled between Thursday, April 4 and Sunday, April 7. Tickets are on sale now.

George Balanchine’s Apollo tells the story of the young god of music, which brought Stravinsky international attention when it premiered. The program will also feature the company premiere of Jerome Robbin’s The Cage, which vividly portrays a group of female creatures, and a world premiere by Matthew Neenan, the Pennsylvania Ballet’s acclaimed Choreographer in Residence.
