Kristen Oswald, of Royersford, Montgomery County, died during an Ironman triathlon in Ohio on Sunday after being struck by a commercial truck struck while she was cycling on the course.

The fireflies in the night sky were green lasers coming from aliens.

That's what a Pennsylvania couple reported after one of them started shooting overnight Saturday, according to authorities, who alleged they were high on bath salts.

Jesse Shields, 30, and Katherine McCloskey, 22, took the drugs and then terrorized their neighbors in Lamar Township, according to PennLive, which reported:

Shields grabbed a .357 Magnum belonging to McCloskey's father, got out and fired it to scare off "whoever was messing with them" at about 12:37 a.m. Saturday, the arrest affidavit states.

After running to one nearby house, the couple then allegedly broke into another home, awakening the neighbors, PennLive reported. Shields asked the residents to call 911 and requested to take a shower to get rid of the “goo” that was burning his skin.

Police went to the scene and arrested Shields and McCloskey on burglary and drug charges.

They are being held at the Clinton County Correctional Facility.
