Chef Marcie Turney's frozen budino pops.

Chef Marcie Turney and Valerie Safran of Barbuzzo/Jamonera/Lolita/Verde/Little Nonna's fame are bringing a twist on their critically-acclaimed budino pudding dessert back for the summer. Their frozen budino pops will return to Verde's Marcie Blaine Chocolate counter for weekends in July, August and September.

Each pop runs for $5 and is made with a core of salted caramel and dark chocolate cookie crumbs wrapped with frozen caramel pudding. It's then hand-dipped in dark chocolate and sprinkled with Maldon sea salt.

Unlike the budino donuts the pair sold earlier this year, the pops will not be a one-day deal. They'll be available the weekends of July 17 through July 19, Aug. 14 through Aug. 16 and Sept. 4 through Sept. 6. You can grab them Fridays and Saturdays between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. and Sundays between noon and 6 p.m.
