Last May, Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf revealed a $180 million package to address the state's pothole epidemic, an annual problem that was exacerbated by severe temperature swings last winter.

This year, it appears PennDOT will get a head start on repair activities in the Philadelphia area.

Motorists are reminded that they can always report potholes and other roadway concerns by calling (800) FIX-ROAD or visiting and submitting a concern to the Customer Care Center.
