Philly DA facing off against attorney in charity fight

Out of the courtroom and into the ring goes Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams.

He's set to square off against local attorney and radio host Tariq El-Shabazz in a charity boxing match at the Liacouras Center Saturday night.

Night at the Fights will raise money for The Urban League of Philadelphia, which provides career, education and housing services.

Williams has been training with legendary Philly boxer Bernard Hopkins, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer. The bout between the two is all in good fun and for a good cause, the two told the newspaper. El-Shabazz worked in the District Attorney's Office from 1988 to 1993.

The event, sponsored by the Joe Hand Boxing Gym, will also feature musical performances by local artists like Brotherly Love and Chill Moody.

Doors open for the event at 6 p.m. Tickets ranging from $40 to $125 are still available here.
