Dr. Thomas Dent Mütter, the namesake of the Mütter Museum, helped pioneer plastic surgery procedures like the Mütter flap, a grafting operation intended to help burn victims. The doctor practiced in Philadelphia in the mid-1800s and taught at Jefferson University.

On the new Disney+ series 'The Muppets Mayhem,' streaming May 10, Bill Barretta plays Dr. Teeth, frontman of the fictional Muppet band The Electric Mayhem. Barretta, a Yardley native, also voices and puppeteers characters like Pepe the King Prawn, Rowlf the Dog and the Swedish Chef, which Muppets creator Jim Henson originated.
