Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles toured Philadelphia in 2007, the first time a prince of Wales had visited the city since 1860. They saw the Liberty Bell, caught a concert with then-Gov. Ed Rendell and attended a Center City church service. Charles and Camilla will be crowned the king and queen of England in a coronation ceremony in London on Saturday, May 6.

SEPTA will begin weekend deep cleans of 10 stations along its Broad Street and Market-Frankford lines starting Friday, May 5 and stretching through the early fall. Designated locations will close at 8 p.m. Friday and reopen the following Monday at 5 a.m. The stations to be cleaned include Snyder, Hunting Park and Logan on the BSL and 11th Street and 34th Street on the MFL.

James DeLeon, a Democratic candidate for mayor of Philadelphia, retired as a municipal court judge after 34 years on the bench. He was previously charged with prohibited campaign conduct for his 2003 bid for Pennsylvania Supreme Court and judicial misconduct for issuing a stay-away order for an acquaintance.

The debate will be broadcast live on 6ABC at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25. It also can be streamed on 6ABC.com. Candidates include Amen Brown, Jeff Brown, Allan Domb, Helen Gym, Cherelle Parker and Rebecca Rhynhart.
