Shawn Lichtfuss, 49, is charged with first-degree murder for the death of his wife, 38-year-old Stefanie Caraway, at their home in Camden County, prosecutors said. Pennsylvania girl suffers apparent shark bite at Maryland beach
A 12-year-old Pennsylvania girl suffered an apparent shark bite while visiting Ocean City, Maryland, with her family on Monday. The bite happened in shallow water off the 119th Street Beach, officials said. The girl required 42 stitches for 20 different cuts. The Ocean City Beach Patrol said the incident remains under investigation.July 30, 2021

Longwood Gardens closes for days after truck crashes into visitor center
Longwood Gardens will be closed until Wednesday, Aug. 4 due to a tractor-trailer crash at the east side of the visitor center at the popular Kennett Square destination. Fishtown's Kensington National Bank building could be redeveloped with apartments
Developers are proposing a plan to redevelop the site of the former Kensington Bank Building in Fishtown, which is currently the site of a Wells Fargo Bank. A proposal would add a new building on the surface parking lot at 2 West Girard Avenue, with 59 residential units and ground floor commercial space.
