Pennsylvania implemented a new wave of coronavirus restrictions Thursday afternoon, halting indoor dinning at restaurants and bars, closing gyms and suspending extracurricular activities at schools, among other mitigations steps to stop the a dangerous surge of COVID-19. These new restrictions are in effect Saturday, Dec. 12 until Monday, Jan, 4, 2021.

Federal regulators argued that the merger would harm patients and insurers by reducing competition, but U.S. District Court Judge Gerald Pappert ruled the government failed to prove that.

Philadelphia bike share program Indego will embark on a five-year expansion plan beginning in 2021. New stations are planned for neighborhoods in South and West Philadelphia, in addition to a larger fleet of electric bikes across the city.
