Dominican Republic resort says it didn't know about Pennsylvania man's claim he was assaulted at hotel

A Pennsylvania man who visited the Dominican Republic's Majestic Elegance resort said he was ambushed leaving the property's casino. A spokeswoman for Majestic Elegance on Friday said officials were unaware of the incident involving Robert Walker, of New Castle, Pennsylvania. The Majestic Elegance is the same hotel where a Wilmington, Delaware woman, says she was violently assaulted by a man she claimed was wearing a hotel uniform.

Gloucester County man found dead in suspected Nashville homicide

Matthew Hemmelgarn, 33, of Sewell, New Jersey, was found dead in a suspected homicide in Nashville, Tennessee. Police said Hemmelgarn was last seen at a Hooter's restaurant the night before his death.
