A sign for I-95 South at Cottman Avenue in Philadelphia had the word 'central' misSpelled, but was expected to be fixed by Monday night, PennDOT said. The new sign is related to the repairs following the I-95 bridge collapse on June 11, 2023. By midday Monday, PennDOT had covered up the sign.

Ramon Rodriguez Vázquez faces more than a dozen charges after he shot a Philadelphia police officer while fleeing a traffic stop Saturday evening. Following the shooting, Vázquez allegedly broke into a nearby home and held the homeowner hostage for multiple hours.

William Ingram, 49, was transported back to Bucks County on Thursday to be charged with homicide for allegedly killing his mother, Dolores Ingram, 82. Police said Dolores was killed Saturday inside the condo she shared with William in Northampton Township.

Philadelphia police identified the officer who shot a dirt bike rider in Fairhill on Saturday as Paul Moore, 32. Moore shot the man as he allegedly attempted to draw a gun while police were confiscating his dirt bike. Moore has been placed on administrative duty while an investigation into the shooting is conducted.
