For style points alone, this should've counted.

Flyers prospect Pascal Laberge, currently playing in juniors for the Victoriaville Tigres (QMJHL), showed off some slick stick-handling abilities on Sunday night during a shootout against the Québec Remparts.

Unfortunately, 18-year-old forward's move, while jaw-dropping, was disallowed because the puck stopped moving forward. It may have, but was it enough to negate this nasty move? You be the judge...

Here's a look from the other angle, courtesy of Laberge's Instagram:

Whether or not it counted, the move was absolutely filthy. Just look where the opposing goalie wound up:

Even though Laberge, the 36th-overall pick in the last year's draft, had to settle for the highlight (and not the goal too), his team went on to win anyway, 4-3.
