Knead Bagels is located near Washington Square Park.
On Aug. 27 Knead Bagels will host a three-course bagel and beer lunch.
The first course will be salad loaded with veggies, while the second and third courses will be inventive bagel sandwiches. Pours of Stickman Brews (from Royersford, PA) will accompany.
Knead describes itself as a "nontraditional bagel shop" and offers creative spreads (like the sweet potato curry cream cheese) and speciality bagels (like the togarashi bagel).
The breakfast sandwiches can get pretty unique, too. The shop offers daily specials that go beyond bacon, egg and cheese. One recent concoction included prosciutto and goat cheese.
