Who wants to go to the Yule Ball?
There are two things all Harry Potter fans wish they had received: a letter to Hogwarts and an invite to the Yule Ball. The magical school dance in "Goblet of Fire" was envy-inducing. Many would have gladly donned Ron's frilly dress robes if it meant they got to attend.
Well, this year Barnes & Noble is out to bring the Yule Ball experience to the masses -- for free. Bookstores nationwide will host Harry Potter Magical Holiday Balls on Friday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m.
All attendees are encouraged to dress as favorite characters from the Harry Potter-universe.
Here's what to expect at the event:
•Magical Holiday Crafts – Create themed ornaments and owl fans
•Harry Potter Activity and Coloring Station – Play Wizard Charades, Who Said That and Hogwarts Word Search
•Photo Opportunities – Pose in front of Magical Holiday Ball backdrops
•Music, dancing, treats and giveaways
