Chipotle wants to hire 4,000 people on National Career Day

Fast-casual chain will hold up to 60 interviews in each location on Sept. 9

Chipotle Mexican Grill wants to hire 4,000 people nationwide for its first-ever National Career Day on Sept. 9.

Each U.S. restaurant will conduct up to 60 job interviews that day from 8 to 11 a.m., a rate of around one interview every three minutes.

Interested candidates can register for an interview at nationalcareerday.com.

No experience is required. The company says that it is looking for candidates who embody 13 key personality traits, which include being conscientious, enthusiastic, happy, ambitious, curious and honest.

The company, which employs more than 60,000 people, is known for promoting lower-level employees to higher positions. More than 95 percent of its restaurant managers are promoted from within the company, Chipotle said in a statement.
