'Escape the Room' game in East Passyunk gets holiday update

Winners meet Santa in this 1980s-themed game

In this take on the popular "Escape the Room" game, players are trapped in the 1980s. Teams will have one hour to get through four rooms by finding retro clues to unlock doors, open padlocks and hack into computer systems. Clues could come in the form of Cabbage Patch Kid dolls, oversized cellphones or "Goonies" memorabilia.

All through December, the game will have a holiday twist. Once a team finds all the clues within the time limit, then they will get to meet Santa and take a totally '80s picture with him. Other holiday surprises will pop up in the mystery game, as well.

Players can sign up individually and be placed on a team or sign up with a group.
