Bridge construction will force the Vine Street Expressway to shut down overnight for two weeks, starting Monday night.

Road crews will remove the bridges that hang over the highway on 21st and 22nd streets.

The work is part of the four-year, $64.8 million project that started in April 2015 to replace seven structurally deficient bridges between 18th and 22nd streets. The project is slated to be finished in November 2018, a year ahead of schedule.

The work is weather-dependent.
