N.J. father, former football coach spared prison time for hiding camera in bathroom during teen son's party

A former New Jersey fire captain and football coach was sentenced to 18 months probation and will have to take a sex offender counseling class after he admitted to hiding a camera in his bathroom during his teen son's pool party with friends.

According to an Associated Press report published by CBSPhillyMitchell Morreale of Lyndhurst, Bergen County, said he hid the camera in the bathroom – which was found by a female teen party attendee – because he suspected drug use in the bathroom, his lawyer told the AP.

Morreale pleaded guilty to invasion of privacy in March.
