Organizations to pitch ideas on improving democracy

The event will take place during the DNC

On the first day of the DNC, July 25, organizations will gather to discuss democracy, during a free event titled "American Experiments."

The question at the heart of the gathering is: "How can technology and innovation reinvigorate our democracy?"

Anyone is free to attend with registration, to hear what civic, tech and political reform organizations have to say about improving elections, voter access and the current political process.

There will be an exhibit showcasing the ideas of 17 organizations, then a contest where six organizations will present to a panel of judges.

The day begins at 10 a.m. with a lunch break at noon.
