Sam vs. the SuggMonster: A children's book, Chapter I

Eagles NFL
Sam Bradford Terrell Suggs Jimmy Kempski/for PhillyVoice

Once upon a time, there was a quarterback by the name of Sam. The city of Philadelphia hired Sam to bring them something they had never had, a shiny silver trophy in the shape of an oblong ball. In previous quests to obtain the trophy in the city of St. Louis, Sam had hurt his knee several times.

But Sam worked hard, rebuilt his knee, and trained with the Eagle tribe to get back out onto the battlefield. And the people of Philadelphia were happy.

Sam's first battle would be against the SuggMonster. The SuggMonster was a reputed bad guy. Sam had heard tales of the SuggMonster holding people down and pouring bleach on them. Sam did not want that to happen to him.

On the field, at a time when Sam was not involved in the battle, the SuggMonster struck. He knew that Sam's knee was his weakness, so he dove at it, and brought him to the ground.

The battlefield referee penalized the SuggMonster by throwing a yellow cloth at him:

Jerome Boger

Sam's friend Jason was not happy either. Jason said that the SuggMonster hit Sam's knee on purpose.

Since Sam was not worse for the wear, he and his new friends were ready to put the incident behind them and move on to their next battle, when out of nowhere the SuggMonster had some people take his side. The Dean of Party Buses chimed in:

Dean Blandino

This left the head of the Eagle tribe confused.

Chip Kelly

This made the SuggMonster's boss mad.
