The "ShaqBLACKJack" game combines live blackjack with a slots-like computer terminal.

Former NBA star center Shaquille O'Neil is partnering with New Jersey's Dynamic Gaming Systems to bring a new gaming system to Parx Casino in Bensalem.

The name is ... wait for it ... ShaqBLACKJack.

The system will combine the live aspects of blackjack with the individualized aspects of a slot machine. There will be a dealer in the center of the game room dealing out hands live, but players will each sit and play at their own computer stations. The goal is to allow new players to sit in on the fun of blackjack without being intimidated by more experienced players.

"I wanted to find a way to make a casino game fun for everyone and find a way to bring Shaq's unique brand of humor to the gaming floor," said Dynamic Gaming CEO Charlie Barksdale in a statement.

Shaq -- a native of Newark, New Jersey -- will visit Parx at 6:30 p.m. on October 4 to unveil the game. Fans can meet him and enter their names in a raffle to win autographed memorabilia and free slot play.

This isn't O'Neil's first foray in a gaming town. He's interested in investing in an apartment project in Atlantic City and has partnered with developer Wasseem Boraie in seeking a $30 million loan from the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority, the Philadelphia Business Journal reported.
