Sixers Beat Podcast: Are they too good? And does it matter if there is development?

After a one-episode hiatus (aka I had a Flyers game to cover), I hopped back on the Sixers Beat program with Philly Mag's Derek Bodner and Liberty Ballers' Max Rappaport, formerly of Sixers.com fame. Topics included:

• ARE THEY TOO GOOD? With the Lakers only three games ahead of the surging Sixers in the standings, is there any way that Ish Smith won't be zipping past Los Angeles like he's in the open court? And we also talk about two competing values, wanting the best overall lottery odds but also trying to develop young talent like Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel.

• What's up with that New York Post report from the other day? Do we actually believe that ownership forced Harris to take Jahlil Okafor over Kristaps Porzings?

• Okafor and Noel since Ishmas... pretty, pretty good. Do we think differently about them as a frontcourt pairing now that they have started to play better?

All of that, and a whole lot more. If you like the Sixers, this is definitely one of five podcasts for you:
