Eagles-Chiefs inactives, with analysis

As always, the injury bug has hit the Philadelphia Eagles hard, as they have already lost Brandon Graham and Isaac Seumalo for the season. Brandon Brooks will also be out for a couple months, and Jordan Mailata will miss his second game with a knee sprain. On the plus side, the Eagles will be getting Rodney McLeod back on Sunday. The Chiefs, on the other hand, are healthy, relatively speaking, but they will be without a pair of defensive starters in Frank Clark and Charvarius Ward. Here are the Eagles' and Chiefs' inactives, with analysis.

After a beatdown of the Atlanta Falcons Week 1, the Philadelphia Eagles suffered a frustrating loss at home against the San Francisco 49ers Week 2, followed by a blowout loss in front of a national audience to the Dallas Cowboys Week 3. It won't get any easier on Sunday, as Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs are in town.

They'll still do that in 2021 (I guess), but there are even more peripheral rooting interests for Birds fans this season because they own 2022 draft picks from other teams. And so, each week we'll lay out a rooting guide for non-Eagles games on the NFL schedule.

Eagles vs. Chiefs: Five matchups to watch

On Sunday, the 1-2 Philadelphia Eagles will host the 1-2 Kansas City Chiefs. After dropping their Week 2 and Week 3 games against the Baltimore Ravens and Los Angeles Chargers, the Chiefs are currently in the basement of the AFC West, and will be desperate to get back in the win column. The Chiefs' talent is obvious, but they also have some weaknesses to overcome. Here are our five matchups to watch.
