Federal investigation into Philly pharmacy that illegally dispensed opioids ends with two more guilty pleas

Federal investigators announced the end of their years-long investigation into Verree Pharmacy, the former Fox Chase business that was once the largest buyer of oxycodone in Pennsylvania. Two former employees pled guilty and were sentenced to jail time. The former owner was ordered to pay $4.1 million for health-care fraud and other charges.
