Authorities in Chester County and Bucks County are investigating a series of thefts at local grocery stories, where a 3.5-foot-tall bobblehead version of rapper Snoop Dogg has been stolen on three separate occasions in the last month. The limited edition bobblehead was created as part of Snoop Dogg's advertising campaign with Corona.

The owner of Leo's Steaks in Folcroft, Delaware County, survived a knife attack from an employee on Aug. 20. The incident happened inside the business on Chester Pike, where Steven Mullan allegedly was stabbed by 43-year-old Sean Walklett. Mullan had a 10-inch knife lodged in his neck, but had it safely removed without serious complications. Walklett is charged with attempted first-degree murder and other offenses.

The Rittenhouse town home of former of 6ABC anchor Monica Malpass has sold for $2.85 million. The six-bedroom property in Center City Philadelphia was listed several times in recent years. Malpass, 60, departed from 6ABC in 2019 and has since joined NASDAQ as a business anchor.

Famed South Jersey cheesesteak spot Donkey's Place is planning an expansion with a new location in Mount Holly and another outpost potentially in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia. Founded more than 75 years ago, Donkey's Place earned the acclaim of late celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain, who declared their unique kaiser roll cheesesteaks better than anything in Philly.

Philadelphia rapper PnB Rock, born Rakim Hasheem Allen, has pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a January 2019 arrest at his home in Bensalem, where authorities found marijuana, a firearm and more than $30,000 in cash after executing a search warrant. Allen will serve 36 months of probation on each count, running concurrently. He also has been ordered to complete 100 hours of community service, with permission to transfer his supervision to California.

Dutch Springs, a destination lake for scuba divers in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley, may soon be off limits after the property was sold to a commercial real estate developer that has proposed a large-scale warehouse project at the site. A staple and regional training ground for the diving community for 40 years is headed for closure, but dedicated divers are holding out hope for a resolution that would keep the lake open.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Carson Wentz is recovering from surgery on his foot in hopes of making his debut in week one against the Seattle Seahawks. Indianapolis Star reporter Gregg Doyel criticized Wentz for his "selfish" decision to apparently not get a COVID-19 vaccination, setting off an ominous media cycle that's all too familiar to Philadelphia Eagles fans. Doyel wrote that he hopes to see Colts backup quarterback Jacob Eason steal Wentz's starting job.

Team USA women's fencing coach Anthony "Buckie" Leach died at 62 years old after a motorcycle accident in Potter County, Pennsylvania on Aug. 14. The crash happened two weeks after Leach returning from leading the women's team to a fourth place finish at the Olympics in Tokyo. Leach was on a cross-country motorcycle tour.
