March 17, 2017
The Pennsylvania Convention Center will host the 2017 Travel and Adventure Show on Saturday, March 25 and Sunday, March 26. This will be the third year the show has taken place in Philly.
The annual event has gained popularity through its informative seminars, where experts give travel advice, and through the many opportunities to score a travel deal from exhibitors.
Attendees can choose from over 30 seminars, which will take place across four stages:
•Travel Theater - Hear from celebrity personalities such as Adam Richman (Travel Channel host) and Peter Greenberg (CBS News travel editor).
•Destination Theater - From where to go and when to go, to what to do and how to get there, experts will give tips on how to travel like a local.
•Savvy Traveler Theater - Experts will offer practical advice on how to stay on budget.
•Taste of Travel Theater - Get a taste of cultures from around the world, as chefs prepare local cuisines for the audience. Most cooking demonstrations end with samples.
There will also be hands-on activities (rock climbing, camel rides) and cultural performances.
Single-day and two-day tickets are available online and at the door (cash only). Those 16 and under are free. The show will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 25 and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 26.
