Tourists in New Zealand witnessed an epic battle between a fur seal and the octopus it was trying to devour.
The New Zealand Herald reported Wednesday kayaking guide Conner Stapley was with three customers in the country's South Bay where the octopus' fight for its life took place.
In the video, the seal can be seen thrashing the octopus about as it tries to escape the predator's grasp.
The seal eventually wins and gets its food.
The owner of the kayaking service told the Herald these battles have happened in the past, sometimes lasting 20 minutes and resulting in bits of octopus being flung onto tourists' boats.
