Adaptability is a trait all triathletes must possess to finish their grueling test of strength and endurance, so it comes as no surprise the 17th annual Stampone Law Tri the Wildwoods Triathlon will still be held during the pandemic after a quick shift in focus was made with health and safety in mind.
Now in its first year as title sponsor, Stampone O’Brien Dilsheimer Law is proud to host the renowned Tri the Wildwoods event run by DelMo Sports. While moving the competition to an online platform is not ideal, sponsors and organizers felt it was best to keep some semblance of normalcy during these uncertain times and have the race continue in this form.
“We are constantly representing injured bikers, runners and other athletes, and this will be a nice opportunity for our firm to support them in their competitive pursuits,” said founder and managing shareholder, Joe Stampone, who has been a homeowner in Wildwood Crest since 1987. “As a member of the Wildwoods community, I can say we are disappointed the Tri won’t be held at the beach this year, but we are all determined to hear that starting gun in person next summer.”
The award-winning event, dubbed “The Best Triathlon on the Jersey Shore,”
was set for a record turnout in Wildwood this year with thousands of
entrants signed up for the triathlon, a 5k, and two kid’s fun runs. In
addition to race prizes and giveaways, The Stampone O’Brien Dilsheimer
Perseverance Award will be awarded to a participant of the kid’s fun run
who tackles the challenging race through tenacity and willpower.
Leading the firm with Joe Stampone are partners Kevin O’Brien and J.B. Dilsheimer, each highly-experienced and respected trial lawyers who have obtained some of the top verdicts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey as acknowledged by the National Law Journal. The two share a passion with Joe for bringing tenacious, hands-on, personal representation in a manner that is down to earth, practical, and decent to all participants in the process.
With offices in Cheltenham and Philadelphia, Stampone O’Brien Dilsheimer Law brings personal attention to your personal injury claims with its distinct family first approach. Family is a driving force behind the firm with Joe Stampone’s son Dan Stampone and nephews Tyler Stampone and Kevin O’Brien leading the way as the firm’s next generation of talented and aggressive attorneys. The firm’s staff is a mix of experienced trial attorneys and youthful, savvy litigators who are well-equipped to handle complex civil litigation cases involving construction accidents, slip and falls, medical malpractice, defective products, automobile crashes, traumatic brain injuries and incidents of death and dismemberment. A staff doctor, who is also a lawyer, ensures we stay on top of all medical issues associated with our clients’ cases, whether catastrophic injury or medical malpractice.
Stampone O’Brien Dilsheimer Law has garnered a 98 percent success rate by winning more than 10,000 cases from the time of its founding in 1984. 70 percent of the firm’s attorneys were named to the Super Lawyers or Rising Stars, including Joe Stampone, who was named to the Philadelphia Top 100 List. Joe also was recently recognized as Best Law Firm Mentor in the state of Pennsylvania by The Legal Intelligencer.
A strong sense of community involvement is the very foundation of Stampone O’Brien Dilsheimer Law, and the firm’s outreach work includes supporting many charitable endeavors. Firm partner J.B. Dilsheimer is active within the Philadelphia Committee to End Homelessness and Joe Stampone is on the board of the Superhero Project, a local nonprofit started by family friend Kelly Gallagher to raise funds and provide emotional support for families with babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
To Joe, Kevin, J.B. and their staff, community involvement is not just something ingrained in the corporate culture of the firm, it’s a way of living. If you are a victim of injury and in need of legal services, you will not find another attorney to better represent your interests than Joe, Kevin, J.B. and their team. They’ll treat you like family, because to them, you will be.
