Sundance Institute invites you to discover the work of independent artists this May with a free day of discovery at the Painted Bride Art Center:

Music in Film Session: Philadelphia

Saturday, May 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Sundance Institute examines how filmmakers and composers create character and story through a musical score. This free session will include curated panels with filmmakers and composers, audience Q&As and a closing reception with the Philadelphia film community. Panelists include Kate Abernathy, Tina Brown, JB, Nora Kroll-Rosenbaum, Aska Matsumiya and West Philadelphia native Tayarisha Poe.
