First sharks, then manatees and now a dolphin in New Jersey waters.

According to NBC 10, officials are monitoring a dolphin spotted in New Jersey's South River near Old Matawan Road in Old Bridge.

A spokeswoman for the Marine Mammal Stranding Center said the dolphin is being watched and that they are hoping it will make its way back out to the open water with the high tide.

In the meantime, residents and nearby kayakers are advised not to interfere with the dolphin.
