DUI patrols planned throughout Bucks County during Memorial Day weekend

Times, dates have been posted as a warning

Officers on DUI patrol will be spread throughout Bucks County over Memorial Day weekend, Patch.com reports.

Eight police departments throughout the county will be involved in the roving patrols planned from 10 p.m. Saturday until 3 a.m. Sunday.

They will be targeting, but not limited to, the following areas:

  1. Route 309 from Hilltown Township to Springfield Township
  2. Route 313 from Quakertown to Route 113
  3. Route 663 from Quakertown to the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike

Departments providing officers for the detail include Bedminster, Bensalem, Doylestown, Solebury, Tinicum and Warrington Townships as well as Penndel and Quakertown Boroughs, Patch.com reports.

Patch also reported that in 2014 throughout Pennsylvania there were 123 crashes and seven deaths during the Memorial Day weekend.
