The first week of the NFL season doesn't put together the full picture for any of the league's 32 teams. But right now there is enough of a sample size to say that the Eagles, even with some early flaws, are looking a whole lot better than the Tennessee Titans, who couldn't even score a touchdown against the Jets until way late into garbage time.
The two will face off in Week 2 at Tennessee's Nissan Stadium on Sunday.

The Eagles are 8-5-0 all-time against the Titans, with their last matchup being a pretty notable one for this era of Eagles football.
Back on Dec. 4, 2022 at Lincoln Financial Field, Jalen Hurts threw for 380 yards and three touchdowns – and rushed for one more – while A.J. Brown caught eight of those passes for 119 yards and two scores himself against his, at the time, old team.
DeVonta Smith also had 102 receiving yards and a touchdown, and an Eagles defensive line that was sacking everybody at a record pace that season got to Ryan Tannehill six times that day in a 35-10 blowout.
The Eagles improved to 11-1 with that win, in yet another effort that told Philadelphia that the 2022 team was destined to go to the Super Bowl.
The Titans, meanwhile, dropped to 7-5, were teetering on a line of mediocrity, and left with egg on their face from that notorious draft night trade of Brown the previous April that they clearly and immediately weren't a winner of.
It's almost four years later now, but both teams still exist at opposite ends of the competitive spectrum.
The Eagles don't have A.J. Brown anymore, but they're still very much after another Super Bowl with Hurts, Smith, and star running back Saquon Barkley.
But the Titans? They've gone completely backwards, with no worse showing for it than getting trounced by the New York Jets of all teams in Week 1.
This Sunday is a matchup that very much favors the Eagles.
