So the Eagles posted a video of Jalyx Hunt and Riq Woolen blindly trying to match up the team's helmets to their social media channels on Wednesday afternoon.
Harmless, fun stuff, righ– WAIT IS THAT A WHITE KELLY GREEN HELMET???
What is it? Still zero... 😂 pic.twitter.com/GByE2v6zGF

Yup, it's right there.
Nothing is said about the white helmet at all, not in the video or the caption. But scroll down into the replies or comments on your social media platform of choice, and it's clear: Fans noticed, to the point where the zero acknowledgement seems by design.
A few things...
• There haven't been outright rumblings of a new uniform – throwback or otherwise – joining the Eagles' rotation, but go back to the schedule reveal video from May, and Jalen Hurts casually mentions that they "need a white Kelly Green," leading Saquon Barkley to reply, "Well, you got the power to change that, Mr. Hurts."
Now, a few months later, there's at least one white Kelly Green helmet in the building.
Jalen Hurts said that he “needs” the Eagles to bring back the white kelly green uniform.

Hurts pushed for the Eagles to wear black pants with their white jerseys in 2021 and they did it.
We’ll see if he’ll get his wish in 2026. 👀

• When the Eagles finally brought back the Randall Cunningham-era Kelly Green uniforms in 2023, they had fans lining up outside of the Lincoln Financial Field pro shop in the early morning just to get one, and a Barkley Kelly Green jersey became the must-have item in Philadelphia the second Barkley pulled off the reverse hurdle in those unis against Jacksonville just over a year later.
The look resonates with so many people, young and old, and makes the Eagles insane amounts of money in merchandise sales. They'd be fools not to lean into it further.
• The only immediate hangup in the Eagles' way is the NFL's current uniform and helmet policy, at last check in 2024, where teams are allowed up to three separate helmet shell designs max, and with plenty of advance notice to the league about their usage (which likely would've brought on more concrete leaks of an actual design).
Currently, the Eagles are at the limit, with their standard Midnight Green helmets, their Kelly Green throwback helmets, and their Blackout third helmets.
• However, the Eagles are in line to be a part of the City Connect-like NFL Rivalries uniform program in 2027. Maybe this is an early tease for that, even though it'd be more than a year out, or a sign, too, that one uniform in the rotation could be getting retired.
Keep in mind that ever since the Eagles brought the Kelly Greens back into the fold, the all-black uniforms have been used a lot more sparingly. There is an obvious pecking order when it comes to the Eagles' uniforms right now.
• If this is a tease at a white Kelly Green throwback, and it is indeed a throwback, then the helmet would put the era at about 1969-1973, according to The Gridiron Uniform Database.
In 1969, the Eagles had both a Kelly Green helmet with silver wings and a white helmet with green wings that they could switch between. Then from 1970-73, they wore the white helmets full-time before 1974 brought on the Kelly Green uniform style that became synonymous with Harold Carmichael, Wilbert Montgomery, and Dick Vermeil.
• If it isn't an outright – and still theoretical – throwback, then maybe that early 70s design is at least the basis for something new.
But that's all there really is to go off of for now, with the Eagles paying it no mind – almost deliberately.
Let's see if that white helmet pops back up again, though.
