An early morning fire at a Center City high-rise has reportedly forced several residents out of their homes.
According to CBSPhilly, the fire broke out at the Embassy Apartments on the 2100 block of Walnut St. shortly before 6 a.m. Monday.
No one was reportedly injured, although several residents were said to have been forced to evacuate the building.
Officials told CBSPhilly that the blaze started at the back of the building. It was placed under control within 30 minutes of when emergency crews arrived at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
