We're still more than 24 hours away from the NBA Trade Deadline, but this thing seems to be picking up some steam.
While the rest of the world was busy sleeping late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, Sixers general manager Elton Brand was hard at work, pulling off his second major trade since taking over as the team's general manager over the summer.
This time, it was a blockbuster deal with the Clippers that sent Landry Shamet, Wilson Chandler, Muscala and a pair of first-round picks out West in return for Tobias Harris, Boban Marjanovic and Mike Scott — a move that could potentially change the landscape of the Eastern Conference, if not in the longterm, definitely in the short term.
