'The Notebook' is being turned into a Broadway musical

It's not over!

If you're not over "The Notebook," which hit theaters in 2004, then singer-songwriter and Broadway star Ingrid Michaelson has some exciting news for you.

While co-hosting Thursday's "Today" show with Hoda Kotb, Michaelson made an announcement. She's composing the score for a musical adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’ book "The Notebook," on which the romantic hit movie starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams is based.

Bekah Brunstetter, a producer and writer on NBC's "This is Us," is penning the musical's book.

No casting or premiere date has been revealed yet.

Watch Michaelson share the news in the clip below, and get excited for the love story of Noah and Allie to unfold on stage in the (we hope very near) future.

And please let it also come to Philly. We got "Hamilton," so there is a real possibility the musical based on "The Notebook" could be performed here, too.
