Dover police say circumstances of 20-year-old woman's death are not suspicious

Kristen Oswald, of Royersford, Montgomery County, died during an Ironman triathlon in Ohio on Sunday after being struck by a commercial truck struck while she was cycling on the course. 

A Philadelphia woman attending the Firefly Music Festival over the weekend died after being found unconscious at the event's campsite on Sunday morning.

The 20-year-old woman is identified Caroline Friedman, according to information from the Dover Police Department.

Officers were called to a camp grounds set up for the annual concert at Dover International Speedway at 6:30 a.m. Friedman was unconscious when police arrived. She was transported to BayHealth Kent General Hospital where she was pronounced dead at 6:55 a.m., police said.

The cause of Friedman's death is pending autopsy and toxicology results, but Dover poice stated foul play is not suspected at this time.

This was the seventh year for the Firefly Music Festival. Tens of thousands of people attend the three-day concert to see dozens of musical acts. In 2017, there was an estimated 90,000 attendees.
