Powerball ticket sold in Montgomery County worth $1 million

A Philadelphia-area resident could have a lottery ticket worth $1 million right now.

On Thursday, Pennsylvania Lottery officials announced a Montgomery County supermarket sold a winning Powerball ticket. The lucky winner matched all five white balls pulled during the Wednesday, April 5 drawing. The winning numbers were 08-20-46-53-54.

Unfortunately, the ticket didn't hit the red Powerball, 13, so it's only worth $1 million and not the $40 million jackpot.

The ticket was purchased at Redner’s Warehouse Market located at 1200 Welsh Road in North Wales. The retailer earned $5,000 for selling the ticket.

The winner has one year to claim the prize and is encouraged to sign the back of the ticket before contacting lottery officials.

The Powerball jackpot will now roll over to $50 million for Saturday's drawing.
