Reports: Police investigating fatal Philly shooting involving rapper's entourage

Police are investigating a fatal shooting in the city's Powelton neighborhood that allegedly involves the entourage of a local rapper, according to media reports.

The shooting occurred outside the Jollies West bar at 3800 Lancaster Avenue around 1:45 a.m. Saturday, according to 6ABC.

A fight ensued after a 19-year-old man confronted rapper PnB Meen's entourage, eventually leading to shots fired and the man being hit in the chest, the news station reports.

The unidentified man was pronounced dead at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

PnB Meen was performing at the bar that night, according to Philly.com. Police are searching for the rapper and his crew who reportedly fled south on 38th Street in a vehicle.

The men were possibly in a black or green BMW, according to the website.
