The second Night Market of the season will be held on June 23 in Callowhill. This will be the second year in a row that The Food Trust's street food fest has been hosted by the neighborhood, but this year, two streets will be filled with food trucks, beer and music. Both Twelfth and Callowhill streets will be used.
While the formula for fun stays consistently the same at each Night Market, there's also usually a surprise. At the Roxborough Night Market, the first of the season, there was yoga. Callowhill's market will have "Wheel Battles" starting at 6 p.m.
In the competition created by The Clay Studio, there will be head-to-head challenges on the pottery wheel. Who can create the tallest vessel? Who can create the best work blindfolded?
