The Philadelphia Police have arrested Sean Butler, 45, of the 300 block of S. Broad Street, and charged him with indecent assault and related offenses after he, allegedly, grabbed a woman's butt in a Septa subway station near City Hall.

The Philadelphia Police have arrested a man, who they believe, is responsible for the indecent assault of a woman that occurred in the subway station at 1500 Market Street on Nov. 27.

According to police, on Dec. 11, officers apprehended Sean Butler, 45, of the 300 block of S. Broad Street, on charges of simple assault, indecent assault and harassment.

Butler is believed to have been the man responsible for an incident that occurred at about 7:35 p.m, on Nov. 27, 2015, when a 27-year-old woman, told police, she was followed through the SEPTA station located at 1500 Market Street and, while inside the station, the man that police believe to be Butler, touched the woman's buttocks before fleeing the station in an unknown direction. 

Police said that after the Dec. 1 incident, an officer, who has had numerous previous encounters with Butler, recognized him from surveillance video.
