Love free food and hate to wait for it? Shake Shack is about to make your day.
The fast-casual restaurant with several locations in Pennsylvania, including two stand-alone spots in Philadelphia, has rolled out a new mobile ordering app that makes it easier to get your food and split.
Customers who download and use the app can place an order on their phone and select a pickup time. Then, the food should be ready and bagged when you get there.
In more good news, Shake Shack is offering a free single burger, or something else on the menu for up to a $5.55 value, to customers who download the app through Feb. 28.
To score the free food, you will have to order through the app, then enter a promo code and put the burger (or whatever you select) in the mobile cart.
