Live updates/open thread recap: Eagles 44, Lions 6

The Philadelphia Eagles will try to avoid hitting rock bottom on Sunday in Detroit against the 0-7 Lions. If the Birds can bring home a win, they'll improve to 3-5, and will salvage any last hope of remaining competitive in 2021, at least temporarily.

Eagles

Eagles-Lions inactives, with analysis

The Philadelphia Eagles need a win in Detroit against the Lions to avoid a freefall into NFL irrelevancy the rest of the 2021 season, if they're not already there. Eagles-Lions injury report, with analysis

The Philadelphia Eagles need a win in Detroit against the Lions to avoid a freefall into NFL irrelevancy the rest of the 2021 season, if they're not already there. They'll do so without Miles Sanders, Brandon Graham, and others. The Lions are even more banged up, as a bunch of their best players are on injured reserve.

Mailbag: The Eagles' 2022 quarterback: An All-Pro vet, a rookie first-round pick, Jalen Hurts?

Eagles podcast: Is a Jalen Hurts benching on the horizon?

In the latest episode of BGN Radio, Brandon Gowton and I discussed the Philadelphia Eagles' ugly loss in Las Vegas to the Raiders, whether or not the team should bench Jalen Hurts, and we debate which is worse — the Birds' offense, or defense.
