Atlanta’s Philips Arena was the host of the final Raw before Battleground, and it may have been the greatest go-home Raw for a special event in the last few years I can remember. It had everything – good to great storylines, good angles, and some really good matches. Then again, any show with a Lesnar appearance always seems like a good or great show.

The Summerslam Heatwave Tour reached Philadelphia on Friday night, as WWE rode into town for the first time since January’s Royal Rumble. The fact that this event wasn’t being taped or shown live on television brought a little bit of a laid back atmosphere as the wrestlers could just go out and have fun and not worry about screwing something up on national television.

The BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, WI was the site for SmackDown this week, and the main event was Champion vs. Champion, although there were no titles on the line. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins, would face the WWE Intercontinental Champion, Ryback, in a pretty good television main event.

Tokyo, Japan was the host for a WWE show on America’s day of independence. Go figure. Ryougoku Sumo Hall was the site of one of the more unique WWE presentations of late, and showcased some really tremendous matches. If you awoke in time to catch the show, you weren’t disappointed. If you slept in, I highly suggest you catch the replay on demand on the WWE Network.

We’re a little bit closer to Battleground. A little bit closer to Beast in the East in Japan. And the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins, has never been booked as strongly as he’s been booked the last two weeks on television.

The Nation’s capital was the site of Raw on Monday night, as the Verizon Center in the Washington, D.C. was just another stop on the road to Battleground in July. Fresh off destroying Brock Lesnar and Dean Ambrose last week, Seth Rollins and The Authority were in a great mood Monday night. Rollins even got his boys gifts. Pretty awesome gifts, actually.

SmackDown emanated from the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio this week, and we had the privilege of seeing another great main event between two of the hottest superstars in the industry, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. I don’t think I’ll ever tire of these two going one-on-one.

Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis was the site of WWE’s Monday Night Raw this week, and the audience had the distinct pleasure of seeing The Authority reunite. Oh, you didn’t know The Authority disbanded? Well, I’m not sure I did, either.

Mr. Money in the Bank, Sheamus, kicked off SmackDown Thursday night from the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, NY. Sheamus lamented of when he returned from injury and took out Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler and the crowd chanted, “You look stupid!”
