Police are working to locate a suspect they say is involved in a pattern of auto thefts in West and Southwest Philadelphia.
Police have released video of an unknown male who is accused of stealing eight taxicabs over nine days in West and Southwest Philadelphia.
The eight taxicabs, stolen between June 7 and June 15, all bear the logo of “215 Get A Cab.” One of the thefts was captured on surveillance video, which shows the male suspect walking down the street and approaching the cab. He looks behind him before getting into the car and driving away.
Police describe the suspect as a black male with a thin build and a beard.
