14-year-old Kara Lemonowicz, a freshman at Eastern Regional High School, was found unresponsive on the morning of Saturday, September 5, after a soccer team sleepover.

A police investigation is underway after a 14-year-old girl attending a Friday night sleepover in Mantua Township, New Jersey, was found unresponsive Saturday morning.

Authorities say the teenager was found in a tent at around 9 a.m. Saturday morning on the 200 block of Barnsboro Road, according to 6ABC. After the homeowners called 911, paramedics arrived and announced the victim dead at the scene.

In a tweeted posted by her soccer team, Eastern Girls Soccer, the teen was identified as Eastern Regional High School freshman Kara Lemanowicz.

The Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office said that no foul play was suspected in the girl's death, nor were alcohol and drugs a factor. Authorities believe the girl's death may have resulted from a possible medical condition.

A candlelight vigil was held for Lemanowicz at Giangiulo Turf Field on Saturday night.
