Police are seeking a female suspect wanted in connection with several bank robberies in Northeast Philadelphia.
Police are seeking a female suspect wanted in connection with several bank robberies in Northeast Philadelphia.
The most recent incident occurred on Thursday when the unknown suspect entered a Citizens Bank located at 10650 Bustleton Ave. in Somerton.
Police said the suspect presented a demand note to the teller and took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing in a late-model dark-colored Nissan Murano or Rogue SUV.
Police describe the suspect as a black female between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall. She was covered in all black Muslim clothing from head to toe.
According to police, the suspect is responsible for multiple bank robberies in the Northeast Philadelphia area.
