Attend a private screening of 'Rogue One' after pizza buffet

City Tap House throwing 'Star Wars'-themed event

City Tap House University City has come up with a winning combination: "Star Wars," pizza and beer.

The restaurant is offering dinner and a movie in honor of the release of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." On Monday, Dec. 19, "Star Wars" fans can enjoy a pizza buffet and Victory beer before a 7 p.m. private screening of the new movie. Tickets for the event are $35 per person and include two beers, the buffet and admission to the screening.

The buffet (from 4:30-6:30) will feature three different pizzas. Those with Wookiee-size appetites can also order an 8-ounce "Rogue One" burger with blue cheese, brown sugar-braised bacon and slaw for $16.

Special tappings for the event include an exclusive dry-hopped firkin version of Victory’s Double IPA Dirtwolf, Winter Cheers and Golden Monkey. Victory root beer will also be available as a non-alcoholic option.

Once dinner is over, the private screening will take place at Rave Cinemas University City 6. It's a short walk from City Tap House.

Don't be afraid to dress up for the occasion. There will be a costume contest, so shine those Stormtrooper helmets.
