Pick up a beach read for cheap at pop-up book sale

Even if you have a stack of unread books at home, it's hard to resist a deal

Taking a tropical vacation this summer? Spending your weekends at the Shore? Or just making the most of your days off by spending them in the sunshine?

Wherever you find yourself relaxing this summer, take a good book with you. Reading has some serious perks for health and happiness.

If you need something new to read, head to the Book Corner on Friday, July 14, or Saturday, July 15, to score a deal on used books.

All hardcover books will be $2, all paperbacks will be $1, and mass-market paperbacks will be five for $1 or 25 cents each.

Tables full of thousands of books will be set up on the sidewalk outside the store, and the Book Corner's staff will be on-hand to help browsers find what they're looking for.

Each purchase at the Book Corner helps support The Free Library of Philadelphia.
